- Is my computer compatible for the Word and Step-by-Step Wizard options?

We would suggest installing the latest release of either: Firefox or Internet Explorer for this website. For the Step By Step Wizard the free Flash Player is required. x close

- Can I use any type of printer?

Most laser and inkjet printers are suitable for using these programs to print. Make sure that the print cable is connected and your paper is lined up. x close
Personalizing my Project - Finding products, fonts and more

- I could not find the product I purchased online.
-
You have several options to search.
- Look for the product in the category in which it was packaged (ie. Wedding, Baby, etc). You can then select 'show all' from the drop down OR narrow down the search by choosing the specific product type (ie. Invitations, Enclosure/Reply Cards, etc)
- 2. Search by product number - this searches the entire product selection regardless of category. Make sure you are typing in the 5-digit number exactly as they appear on your package. Watch for the "letter O" versus the "number 0."

- Where do I find copy/wording for my project?

In the Word version you are given 1 copy version with the template, however you can take advantage of from the Step-by-Step Wizard copy selections, by browsing our copy suggestions within the Flash Wizard and then paste into the word document.
Our Step-by-Step Wizard offers MANY copy choices. To see all copy versions available, select a product, select the Step-by-Step Wizard option. You will see a drop down of copy versions for all of our product categories.x close

- How do I add wording?

You can either create your own wording or edit our copy versions provided for you.
To edit pre-selected copy, simply highlight the copy you want to change, delete and add your own wording.x close

- Can I use the product I bought for another occasion? For example, my wedding invitations for a 25th anniversary party?

Absolutely! First find the product in the category it which it was packaged or search by the product number.
You can use the Word or Step-by-Step Wizard options to design and customize for your special event. The Step-by-Step Wizard text options will show you ALL category text options available. Most likely you will also need to use your own wording.x close

- How do I change the font and style of my wording?

In the Step-by-Step Wizard you'll have many pre-selected font/style options to choose from. Highlight the text you want to change and click font/style of your preference.
In the Word option, highlight the text, click Format, then Font, and select from the Font, Font Styles and Font Sizes in the drop down. Check "Word Help" for further instructions on formatting text.x close

- How do I add photos or images to my invitation or piece?

Currently our Step-by-Step Wizard does not support inserting images.
If you use the Word option, then select Insert, then Picture, then Clip Art or File (depending on where your image exists on your computer). Use the picture tool bar to resize, crop or add borders to your image Check "Word Help" for further instructions on inserting pictures and images.x close

- How do I print in a color other than black?

In the Step-by-Step Wizard you'll have many pre-selected color options to choose from. Highlight the text you want to change and click the color.
In the Word option, highlight the text, click Format, then Font, and select from the Color Options drop down box to the color of your choice. Check "Word Help" for further instructions on formatting text.
With either method, make sure your printer settings are set to 'print color' prior to printing. Check by clicking Print, then Properties, then Color.x close

- Always make sure your test sheet prints perfectly before printing on your actual project.
- If you need more test sheets, simply cut plan paper to the size of your project; hold the sheet over the actual project to make sure it is lined up correctly
- Make sure you have adequate ink for the number of projects you are printing.
- Make sure you are feeding your paper on the correct side and in the correct direction.
- Stay close to your printer when printing, especially if you are printing multiple projects at a time. At times your paper can misfeed or jam.
- Projects may be wet when they come out of the printer. Do not stack them.

- Why won't my project print?

Check to make your printer is connected to your computer and it is plugged it. Refer to your printer manual for printing tips to your specific computer. x close

- My projects looks correct, why won't the words print in the center?

Sometimes computers/printers do not automatically read the size of the document, even though we have provided the template in the correct size. If your project is completely off center, try setting the page size in your printer properties. Set the width and height for the projects per the below:

- What is the best way to print my envelopes?

If the envelope is too wide for your printer, you will have to load it vertically ("Portrait") into your printer. When printing, change the paper orientation to "Portrait" which is usually found in the printer properties. x close

- My project's color is off!

This most likely due to low ink. You'll need to replace your black and/or color ink. x close

- My project is crooked. What happened?

Check to make sure your paper is straight in the paper tray. Use the moveable tray tabs to set up you paper so that it does not move when fed in the printing process. x close

- I don't have any more test sheets.

If you need more test sheets, simply cut plain paper to the size of your project. Or simply print on standard paper. After printing hold it over the actual project to make sure the words are lined up correctly. x close

- My project is smeared. What happened?

The ink may be wet when it comes out for the printer. Do not stack your projects. Lay them in a single row and allow them to dry. x close

- Am I wasting a lot of ink when testing my project?

Your printer has several print options, this may include: draft, fast, normal, best. When testing your project use "draft or fast" to print at quicker speed with less ink.
When printing your actual project use a higher quality print performance like "normal or best". Click printer, then properties to change your print settings. These options are normally under the quality/setting area of your printer.

It's best to test which print quality on your test sheet before printing on your actual project. Higher quality printing may result in wet ink, so do not stack your projects.
